Interview Questions
My name is Karen Nicole Janda. I love fettucine alfredo, it's definitely my favorite food! My taste in music is quite electic. What I'm listening to always depends on my mood. On my iPod, i have tons of different knids of music. I don't really watch that much TV, but i can't wait for the new season of House and all the CSIs. In my "spare" time, i run or practice my flute...i'm sort of a band geek. My favorite subject in school would have to be Biology. It's going to be crazy hard, but i love learning about life and the processes that make our bodies work the way they do. It's not necessarily the subject in which I excel, because that's English, but by working hard, i think i can excel in it. My weaknesses definitely include procrastination, but i've gotten alot better about not putting stuff off. Outside of school, i guess my weakness would be having trouble taking things seriously...not in an obnoxious way, but i just can't take drama and all that too seriously..why stress over it?? I do usually study for tests. I always look over my notes that were taken in class and then all my homework. I make sure that i know all the material that will be on the test, and if i come across something i didn't understand fully, i find a way to ask for help. From this BCIS class, i would like to get more acquainted with the way computers work and how to use them to their full potential. I think we should divide work by who can do what and what different people are good at. I would make a good team member because i like interacting with others, i learn quickly, and i always to things to my best ability.

My Summer
My summer was super busy! Being in band keeps me from working as much as I need to during the school year, so I tried to work extra over the summer. This meant working almost any time I could, but I have a super awesome boss, and he did give me a lot of days off so I could relax. Then band started at the beginning of August..and well, summer ended for us band kids. Being on the leadership team means being in the band hall early and staying late. My summer was really great because I got to see my sister, who is in college in Florida at BArry University. We got to go to our family's lakehouse together, and spent a week just hanging out and being sisters :] As for travel, I didn't go anywhere very exciting...with work and band and family commitments, it was hard to plan time to get away. One of the coolest things about my summer is the super tan that I have now! I mean, it's also thanks to many many MANY hours in the sun with band, buuttt...I'll just be happy that I don't glow in the dark anymore.
